Culture 101 Q&A with Madiha Ansari
Culture 101 is a 6-month arts administration and management training programme of masterclasses, mentoring and work experience for 15 Bradford-based women from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
It is the continuous ground-breaking work that culture sector practitioners deliver that helps shape the narratives of the community. Bradford, with its rich diversity and growing youth demographic, is brimming with raw talent, new voices and passionate changemakers. As a direct response to this, we are pleased to be delivering an arts administration and management programme for women from ethnically diverse backgrounds. Through this course we hope to enhance opportunities in education and employment, as well as create a network of practitioners that feel confident and are qualified to deliver high standards of work.
Pathways into careers in the art sector are so different, so whether it’s writing, directing or performing, or running your own organisation, from enterprise to arts fundraising, the course aims to cover it all.
In this Q&A session, Madiha Ansari (project leader) will answer any questions related Culture 101, such as: the application process, support and timeline of activities.
