What is Master Your Mindset?
As artists, your journey is unique, yet many challenges are shared: resilience, setting boundaries, and confidently presenting your ideas. This intensive offers a deep dive into these key areas, equipping you with the tools to strengthen your mindset, navigate your career with confidence, and develop long-lasting resilience.
What you’ll gain
- Practical Outcomes: Each day concludes with concrete takeaways, such as an action plan or personal statement to anchor your progress
- Mindset Shifts: Learn to reframe failure, work with challenges rather than against them, focus on possibilities, and redirect your energy toward what you can control
- Comprehensive Support: Explore strategies for resilience-proofing, boundary-setting, and communicating your ideas with clarity and confidence

This intensive is for artists and creative freelancers in Bradford who are ready to enhance their confidence, build resilience, and connect with like-minded individuals on a shared journey toward artistic growth.
You will be:
- 18 and over
- Living or making work in Bradford
What each day will cover
Day 1: Mastering Your Mindset
Kick off your journey by delving into the core of creative confidence: your mindset. This full-day session tackles the challenges of self-comparison, self-doubt, and the need for external validation, while also exploring ways to trust your worth and celebrate your achievements. You’ll learn to turn failures into opportunities for growth and address how past experiences, including trauma, might influence your work. By the end of the day, you’ll have actionable strategies to transform your mindset into a foundation for resilience and self-belief.
Day 2: Setting and Maintaining Boundaries
This day is all about reclaiming your time, energy, and focus by mastering the art of boundaries. Learn to say “no” with confidence, overcome procrastination, and develop discipline while staying true to your priorities. We’ll also address the impact of unsupportive relationships and the feelings of responsibility for others’ expectations, empowering you to create a more balanced and sustainable approach to your creative practice.
Day 3: Talking About Yourself and Your Ideas
The final day focuses on building confidence in sharing your story and advocating for your work. You’ll explore how to ask for opportunities, pursue work proactively, and cultivate collaborations that align with your values. Strategies for authenticity, working with neurodiversity, and overcoming imposter syndrome will help you present yourself and your ideas with clarity and conviction, leaving you equipped to grow your network and build a supportive community.
