Kelly Hamilton

Meet Kelly, Bradford Producing Hub’s 2024 PROPEL candidate working with Sheffield Theatres on a Production Management placement.

Kelly Hamilton has a strong foundation in community engagement and event production, as demonstrated in her previous role as a Neighbourhood Host for Leeds 2023. There, she produced community events for the Gipton and Harehills ward, focusing on elevating local creativity and culture. As the Coordinator for the Bradford Cultural Voice Forum, she actively shares resources and opportunities within the cultural sector of Bradford, organising bi-monthly events and producing weekly newsletters for over 500 members. Kelly also held dual roles at Bradford District Museums & Galleries, where she conducted 20 community consultations to identify engagement barriers and inform the museum’s Audience Development Plan. Kelly also shadowed the leadership team and developed a ‘Creative Curator’ arcade game with Impact Gamers, designed to enhance museum outreach and engagement.
