When?
Tuesday 19 March 2024
Where?
Trapezium
58 Kirkgate, Bradford BD1 1QT
What time?
6.00 - 8.30 PM
Join us for our laid-back artist socials hosted by our Visual Arts Instigator, Alison McIntyre. At our March event, we’re delving into the opportunities around exhibiting your work in Bradford. Our hosts at Trapezium will be telling us more about their gallery space and we’ll be joined by Bradford 2025 who will be sharing their latest opportunities for artists across Bradford.
We’ll be joined by artist Caro Blount-Shah for a cyanotype workshop to create beautiful blue prints combining photographic processes with experimentation with found objects or through drawing.
And hey, what’s a good chat without some grub, right? We’ll be fueling this event with a delicious vegetarian curry from Bradford’s Aziz Catering. If you’re observing Ramadan, food will be served after sunset alongside dates and water. We will also have a quiet space available if you need it.
Alongside our discussions, we’ll be hosting our usual art materials swap table for any items or equipment you no longer need, as well as a ‘needs and offers board’ to share and request creative skills to enhance your projects or foster new collaborations.
This event is for all visual artists from Bradford to explore new opportunities, make new connections and be part of a growing visual arts network as we get ready for Bradford 2025!
