Bi-Monthly
Bradford Arts Centre
Our Held Spaces for Visual Arts are bi-monthly events where you can bring your current projects and progress them in a supported environment to help keep you on track, motivated and accountable.
Are you a bit creatively stuck? Do you need a fresh perspective on something you’re working on? Can’t see the wood for the trees? After the success of our Held Spaces for Writing, we’re now launching Held Spaces for Visual Arts! It’s a bit like a crit, which some of you might have been to at art college, but probably a lot kinder and, well, a bit less ‘critical’.
Alison McIntyre, Visual Arts Instigator at Bradford Producing Hub, will facilitate the session, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for everyone to share constructive feedback on each other’s work. The sessions will be limited to a maximum of six to ensure everyone gets a chance to share and provide feedback.
So bring a piece of work to talk about – it could be a finished piece or a work in progress – and any questions or issues you’d like the group to support you with.
We’ll start at 5.30 PM, but please arrive from 5.15 PM so that we can start on time. Hot drinks will be provided.
Huge thanks to Bradford Arts Centre for supporting this event in kind by providing valuable space for Bradford Artists to develop their work.
