Take a deep dive into the Bradford Data Review and explore what data is available to inform and enrich your cultural projects, funding bids and evaluation.

As artists, creatives (and humans) the term ‘data-driven approach’ can send shivers down our spines. But deep down, we know that through truly understanding our local audiences, cultural economy, and engagement with arts and culture – we can not only plan meaningful, people-centred projects – but also achieve more success in our fundraising bids.

At our Knowledge is Power event, we’ll take a deep dive into our new resource, The Bradford Data Review, and show you that not only can data enhance your creative project planning, but also serve as a source of inspiration when planning new projects that cater to audiences across the Bradford district.

The Bradford Data Review brings together data from lots of different sources to provide a picture of our district and our arts and culture sector. However, it is not a complete picture, and we want this resource to be part of a more strategic, district-wide approach to collecting and sharing data and understanding audiences. This event will provide a springboard into a culture of shared learning, exploring how we can use data, research and evaluation more effectively in our own creative projects to fill those gaps in knowledge.
