Calling all Bradford artists and makers, visual arts freelancers, producers, curators, programmers, and professionals!

Our laid-back quarterly visual arts socials are hosted by our Visual Arts Instigator, Alison McIntyre, and we’d love to see you for an evening of connection, conversation, and community over food and good company. Come along to meet fellow visual artists from Bradford and catch up with old friends – we’re a friendly bunch!

We do our best to move around the Bradford district for our Visual Arts Socials. This time, we’re heading to the beautiful Ilkley Manor House Museum, where artist and curator Andreea Chitan will be offering tours of the building.

This social has a special focus: we’ll be thinking together about how we collectively own and sustain the visual arts community, and the socials in particular. There will be space to discuss future plans and ideas for how these evenings continue. As always, we’ll share all your needs and offers and give you plenty of time to connect and talk to each other.

We’re also running our usual Materials Swap Table; bring along any unused art materials and maybe pick up something new! And this time we’re sharing food – potluck/fuddle style – so please bring a dish to share if you’re able to, whether homemade or shop-bought. Don’t worry if you can’t manage it this time, just let us know when you book.

Please note: if you bring homemade food, please supply a list of ingredients. If you have severe food allergies, we’d recommend bringing your own food to be safe.

This event is for all visual artists from Bradford to explore new opportunities, make new connections and be part of a growing visual arts network.
