We are back for another series of Front Room Poetry events in various locations around Bradford for more tales and truths in our living room.
From skate parks to the estate, this is real poetry on the streets of BFD with some of the most exciting spoken word artists, wordsmiths, storytellers and rappers of our time. So if you have something to say, but not sure how to say it- this event is for you.
Imagine vintage sofas, electric firesides, Persian rugs and freestanding lamps. A proper living room with cuppas, pot dogs and some of the best poets and lyricists from around the UK: sharing words and sitting comfy with the bestest Bradford backdrops.
Why not try your hand at the workshops before the main event and even perform alongside our headline acts in the open mic section? Whether you’re a seasoned poet or you’ve never written a verse in your life, we believe everyone has a story to tell.
We encourage family, friends and the community to come down and listen while tempting intrigued residents to see what’s going down in their community living room.
Limited workshop/open mic spots are available. If you need support registering for Front Room Poetry or have any questions about the workshops or events, email [email protected]
Please Note: For evening events, please arrive from 6.30 pm; the event will start at 7 pm prompt. Limited sit-down seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
