We’re delighted to welcome Jyothi Giles as Bradford Producing Hub’s new Strategic Development Lead. And for Jyothi, it’s something of a homecoming.
Jyothi is a Bradford-based arts producer and creative leader with a wealth of experience supporting artists, developing new work and building connections across the cultural sector. From grassroots arts projects to major festivals and international collaborations, their career has been all about bringing people, ideas and opportunities together.
Between 2018 and 2022, Jyothi was Senior Producer at Theatre in the Mill, where she commissioned, developed and championed local artists. During that time, they were also involved in the early development of Bradford Producing Hub through Theatre in the Mill’s role as a consortium partner.
Since then, Jyothi has worked across West Yorkshire and beyond, taking on roles at LEEDS 2023, Leeds Playhouse and tiata fahodzi, alongside working independently as a producer and consultant.
Now, Jyothi returns to BPH at an important moment for the organisation and Bradford’s creative community.
As we look to the future, we’re taking time to reflect on what we’ve achieved, listen to the people who make Bradford’s cultural scene what it is, and think carefully about where our support can make the biggest difference.
Jyothi brings both a deep understanding of Bradford’s creative landscape and a fresh perspective shaped by their work across the wider arts sector. It’s a combination we’re really pleased to have on board as we consider what comes next.
We’re excited to have Jyothi back in the BPH fold and look forward to the conversations, ideas and possibilities ahead.
