We are delighted to announce that Sinead Campbell has joined Bradford Producing Hub as Bradford Music Lead, in partnership with Bradford Council and Music Local.

Sinead, whose artist name is Premaura, is known for her soulful drive-smooth RnB bass lines with a strong pop sensibility. Born and raised in Bradford, she has played at Live at Leeds, Sofar Sounds and she opened the main stage for Soul II Soul and Basement Jaxx at Pub in The Park Festival. Alongside her music career, Sinead is the founder of Konscious Konduit which is a mindfulness coaching & meditation platform where music and well-being go hand in hand.

Sinead says,

‘I have worked in the arts and wellbeing sector for over a decade and I am very excited that I get to carve out my new role with Bradford Producing Hub and contribute to the growth of the Bradford music scene. As Music Instigator I want to create more of a buzz around the music scene in Bradford and help to shine a light on all the varied talented artists that we have – forging a deeper connection with audiences. I am looking forward to organizing events where people can come together, collaborate and build lasting relationships with artists, venues, studios, technicians and audiences. Ultimately, I want to reach out to platforms and organisations and create better relationships to bring more focus and attention to the Bradford music scene so that it can receive much needed support and the recognition that it deserves.’

Lisa Mallaghan says

‘BPH, CBMDC and Music Local identified that music has been underserved in Bradford for quite some time, so we came together to do something about it. There are many brilliant musicians, producers, venues and companies doing fantastic work here already, many early career musicians who are looking for ways into the sector, and there is also room for a lot more! We needed a Music Instigator to bring people together, find out what people need, and support growth of all kinds – and Sinead was the perfect fit. As Bradford’s live arts development programme, BPH was the natural place to host the role and I for one can’t wait to see what this investment into our Music Sector/s will achieve.’

Sinead will begin her role by speaking to musicians and music sector workers from across Bradford to find out what’s needed on the ground, as well as supporting the first meeting of the new Bradford Music Network.

We’re sure you’ll all join us in giving Sinead a big warm BPH  welcome. People can get in touch with Sinead at sinead@bdproducinghub.co.uk  and join the Bradford Music Network by emailing  bradford@musiclocal.co.uk.
