10 AM - 3 PM
The Great Victoria Hotel, Bradford
A free two-day masterclass to help Bradford-based artists, freelancers and small creative organisations build confident, sustainable marketing foundations. Learn how to define your audience, craft messaging that connects, and create a practical plan to grow your creative reach.
How do you talk about your creative work in a way that feels authentic and connects with your audience? How do you know what to focus on when you’re short on time and budget?
This two-day Creative Marketing Masterclass is designed to help artists, freelancers and small arts organisations in Bradford build solid, sustainable marketing foundations that actually work.
Led by an experienced creative marketing strategist, this practical workshop blends hands-on exercises with clear, jargon-free learning. You’ll walk away with a defined audience, a confident marketing plan, and content ideas that truly resonate.
Who this workshop is for
This masterclass is for:
- Those living in or making work in the Bradford district
- Artists working in any art form (visual arts, music, theatre, live art, etc.)
- Or creative freelancers
- Or people working in small creative organisations (studios, collectives, CICs, theatre companies, charities, etc.)
You should already be somewhat familiar with promoting your work online and looking to take a more strategic, structured, and sustainable approach.
What to expect
Across the two days, you’ll:
- Identify your core offer and who it’s really for
- How to understand your audience on a deeper level — what they think, feel and respond to
- Explore the full marketing mix: online, offline, and hybrid approaches
- Learn how to create brain-friendly marketing messages that stick
- Build a realistic plan that’s achievable with your current time and resources
You’ll leave with a clear marketing strategy, a defined audience map, and a ready-to-use campaign plan tailored to your creative work.
We’ll fuel your learning by providing lunch on both days. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know when booking your place.
What to bring
For this masterclass, it would be useful for you to bring:
- A notebook and/or laptop
- An existing example of your marketing or promotional material (flyer, post, example social posts, website, etc.)
- If you don’t have an example already, perhaps bring an example of something you like from someone doing something similar to you

Meet the host
Rhiannon-Amber is a business and marketing consultant specialising in sales psychology and neuromarketing.
She works with high-growth companies to strip away the BS and create marketing campaigns that actually work, because they’re based on how the brain processes information and makes purchasing decisions.
"For as long as I can remember, I've loved marketing. I remember as a teenager I'd post photos and videos to the Facebook page of the riding school my mum managed, long before the term social media marketing existed. I quickly became fascinated with what makes people buy, how to increase sales, how to create the perception of value and how to create marketing content that works. I fell into neuroscience by accident, after studying ways to improve mental health. The more I learned, the more I fell in love with studies of the human brain. So I decided to combine my love of business and marketing with my love of neurology and psychology and created Brain Friendly Marketing."
