As part of the build-up to and delivery of the UK City of Culture in 2025, Bradford Producing Hub has teamed up with Bradford 2025 to deliver a series of webinars for Bradford artists and creatives who are interested in applying to Arts Council England, and other organisations, for funding.
For our next fundraising webinar at 12 PM (noon) on Friday 2 August 2024, Hannah Bentley (she/her), Relationship Manager at Arts Council England, will be joining us online to tell us all about their Developing Your Creative Practice (DYCP) fund. We’ll cover the eligibility criteria, application process, and what access support is available for applicants pre and post-application – as well as other tips to help you make the most of your application.
What is DYCP?
DYCP stands for Developing Your Creative Practice and is an Arts Council England fund to support individuals who are cultural and creative practitioners and want to take time to focus on their creative development. Individuals can apply for between £2,000-£12,000 .

- Round 21: 12pm (midday), Thursday 22 August 2024
- Round 22: 12pm (midday), Thursday 12 December 2024

Access information
This webinar will be delivered online via Zoom with opportunities to ask questions. We will be using closed captions as standard and a BSL interpreter can be provided on request. Ahead of the session, we will send supporting information and a copy of the slides. If you have any access needs that we need to take into consideration, please let us know in the booking form.

The session will not be recorded so please make every effort to attend the live webinar. We plan to deliver more sessions with Arts Council England and Bradford 2025 throughout the year.

Should you need it, Arts Council England can provide access support to help you with your application. You can submit your request for Access Support for DYCP Round 21 (25 July – 22 August 2024) from Tuesday 25 June, one month before the portal opens. They are not able to approve any requests before that date.
Please send your access support request no later than 9 AM on Monday 19 August – they will not be able to review and approve any request received after that time for Round 21.
