November - December 2025

We're excited to present the return of Promote, a free series of workshops for artists, creatives, musicians and small arts companies across the Bradford district to help build an online presence and reach new audiences.

Our Promote workshops are designed to help you understand more about arts marketing, identify your audiences and explore compelling and tailored ways to communicate with them.

We have a series of bespoke workshops this autumn, each offering practical support sessions aimed at demystifying marketing. These workshops will equip you with the key tools to effectively promote your work, build your existing online reach, audiences and opportunities.

  • Musicians and music creators can attend our 2-day Online Music Promotion masterclass
  • Creatives from all other art forms can attend our 2-day Building an Audience Online masterclass
  • Those registering for either of these masterclasses can also register for our 1-day Creative Copywriting workshop to enhance their new skills even further

Each workshop is delivered by experienced creative experts and will cover things like:

  • Artist-specific marketing and how it can work for you
  • Developing a personal brand
  • Building and nurturing audiences
  • Creating a clear plan for the promotion of your work
  • Empowering you to write and speak about your work and best present your work on your website, socials and newsletters, as well as at networking events
  • Identify what marketing you can feasibly manage yourself and what you might need to plan and cost into your future funding applications or creative business expenditure
  • How to identify your ethical positioning when it comes to AI, and how you might utilise it without undermining the work of artists and creatives
Who is Promote for?

Promote is for you if you:

  • Are 18 years old or over
  • Live in or make work in Bradford, or you have another strong demonstrable connection to the District
  • Are an artist, creative freelancer, producer, or any other role in the arts and culture sector and/or you work for an arts and culture organisation that is based in Bradford
