Application Deadline:

About the programme

Our Promote programme is designed to help you to understand more about arts marketing, identify your audiences and explore compelling ways to communicate with them.

The programme will guide you through a series of workshops and practical support sessions aimed to demystify marketing, build the digital foundations required to effectively promote your work, and equip you with the key tools to invite your audiences to participate.

By the end of the programme you will have:

  • A better grasp of arts marketing and how it can work for you
  • More understanding about your audiences and who you want to reach
  • A clear plan for your digital presence
  • Designed a new website, or enhanced your existing one
  • New photos for your website and social media channels
  • Improved how you write about your work and have a bank of words, phrases and text that you can use to talk about your work to different people
  • Established what marketing you can feasibly manage yourself, and identify what you may need to plan and cost into your future funding applications

We also have a small fund available to support each participant with a specific area of marketing development that is tailored to their work. This will be identified and arranged during the programme and can be used on things like; extra support from marketing or digital professionals, help in making new content, audience development or longer-term/strategic planning.

  • Artists, creatives and producers
