Bio

Jamie Saye from SAIL works alongside BPH to embed environmental sustainability in everything that BPH does and supports. This can mean delivering training and events, conducting environmental impact assessments, and offering guidance and support on sustainability challenges. Essentially, anything and everything that BPH and the Bradford culture sector need on environmental sustainability, we’re here to support it.

SAIL was formed in 2018 and since then has delivered its accredited Carbon Literacy training to over 1000 people working within the creative and cultural industries, and has worked alongside many creative and cultural organisations in the region to embed sustainability in their operations. SAIL are the sustainability partner for Bradford 2025 and has worked alongside Kala Sangam to understand their operational carbon footprint and how they might be able to reduce their impact as part of their upcoming building project.

“We love the work that BPH does in Bradford, and want to help support the Bradford cultural sector in ensuring that the work it does is environmentally sustainable as well as creative and impactful. Bradford is an amazing city full of creative and inspirational people, and securing Bradford 2025 as the city of culture just shows how much Bradford has to offer the world.”
