Meet our Board Member, Alex Croft. Alex is the Creative Director, Kala Sangam.

What attracted you to become a Board Member of Bradford Producing Hub?

Having been involved since the very beginning of BPH, I’m really excited to be continuing the journey as part of the new company’s Board. I wanted to become a Board member because over the last four years, I’ve seen the incredible impact BPH has had in Bradford and I want to ensure that artists, producers and creatives in the region continue to have access to this amazing support.

What experience do you bring to the role?

I’ve worked for a number of arts organisations and the Arts Council, and I currently run one of Bradford’s NPOs. Working at Kala Sangam brings me into contact with a whole range of local artists and companies on a day-to-day basis so hopefully, I can help BPH ensure our delivery is relevant to, and engaging with the local cultural sector.

What excites you about the role?

City of Culture is going to be an amazing year in 2025 but BPH is going to be just as needed in 2026, so planning for the future is what I’m most excited about.
