Meet our Board Member, Urussa Malik, a freelance artist based in West Yorkshire and Manchester.

What attracted you to become a Board Member of Bradford Producing Hub?

To gain board experience see how decisions and learn how to make decisions that have a huge impact.

What experience do you bring to the role?

I bring my experience of building my skillset as an early career artist and broadening the idea of what it means to be connected to Bradford. I bring the experience of being locally and internationally connected to Bradford.

What excites you about the role?

Trying new ways of working with participants across Bradford, and seeing how we can adapt and move with the needs of the creatives of the district.

What do you love about Bradford?

It asks that you do something for the city, not just take from it. And the exercise from all the hills!

How would you describe Bradford Producing Hub?

Exciting and deliberate.
